CHRISTMAS FAIR
December is unimaginable without a Christmas market in Old Riga. Dome Square and the streets of the Latvian capital resemble a fairy tale thanks to bright garlands and lanterns, stalls with fragrant mulled wine, roasted almonds and pastries. In addition, at the fair you can buy Christmas gifts for your loved ones from Latvian craftsmen - a patterned pair of mittens, a skillfully carved wooden candlestick or a jar of homemade honey.

For Christmas, the best parks in Riga, such as Vermanes Park, Bastion Hill
Kronvalda Park are decorated with garlands, which creates a fabulous atmosphere. There are also Christmas markets in the parks.
Ice rinks
Since the beginning of winter, open skating rinks have started operating in Riga: in the Park Pobeda, near the Congress House, in the Lido Recreation Center!
