Hello! My name is Christina, I have been working as a real estate agent for the Mercury Group since 2020. My job is to select luxury properties both for sale and for rent.
Why do many non-residents choose Riga to buy real estate?
Latvia is one of the safest countries in the world. It is easier to open your company here than in most European countries, and according to some business indicators, the Baltic state overtakes even Germany, Japan and Switzerland.
Due to the fact that Riga is a small city, it is quite easy to plan time and travel. At the same time, the level of comfort exceeds the pan-European one: the social and transport infrastructure is well developed here, there are many restaurants, a supermarket in almost every house. But the greatest pleasure is to live near the sea: you drink morning coffee, and outside the window there are pines and seagulls.
My hobbies help me get charged for work and always be on the rise: I really like to draw, it relaxes me and allows me to disconnect from everyday problems. Walking in nature also gives me energy - because there are so many beautiful places in Latvia!
I am an open and sociable person and most of all in my work I enjoy communication with clients. Every day I meet new people, and some of them become good friends, which is incredibly nice and very motivating.
My motto in life is the words of Pablo Picasso: “Push the boundaries! I always do what I don’t know how to learn it.”
In my work, the main thing is trust, sincerity, and openness - both on my part and on the part of buyers. As a result, we have a wonderful union!
