Construction has begun on MOCCA, a new residential development located at Katrīnas iela 1 in Riga’s Pētersala-Andrejsala neighbourhood.
The project adds another active construction site to one of the capital’s most closely watched urban areas, where new residential, mixed-use and waterfront developments are gradually reshaping the city centre’s northern edge. MOCCA is currently in the construction stage, with works starting in Q4 2025.
MOCCA is positioned as a premium-class residential project with a compact urban scale. The building will include 59 apartments ranging from one to five rooms, with areas from 20 to 168 square metres. The project’s published price range is EUR 79,300 to EUR 696,900, or approximately EUR 2,300 to EUR 4,600 per square metre. Completion is planned for summer 2027.
The development is designed for buyers looking for a modern home close to Riga’s centre, while still benefiting from a quieter residential setting. The apartments are planned with large windows to bring more daylight into the interiors, and most apartments will include balconies or terraces. First-floor apartments are expected to feature especially spacious terraces.
The standard specification includes white finish, allowing buyers to personalise the interiors according to their own style. The building is also expected to offer a lift, smart home elements, individual storage rooms and electric vehicle charging points. City24 also lists additional amenities such as balconies, terraces, a garden, shared leisure space, heated floors and storage facilities
